We recently adopted a female Finnish Spitz mix who is about 1-2 years old. She is a wonderful dog and we love her so already! Anyways, she seems to throw up about once or twice a week. We usually feed her once a day at around 5:00. The throw up can happen at any time of the day it seems though.
She is very nervous by nature so I don’t know if its her nerves but I think she is pretty settled here now (we’ve had her since Sept.)
We also thought it might be the food we are feeding her. We feed her dry Purina One from the grocery store mixed with Cycle or Skippy wet food. Has anyone had an experience like this or any ideas? We want to try other things before we go to the vet.
THanks for any help!

You can try switching her to a premium food like Nutro and feeding her smaller meals twice a day. If that doesn’t take care of the problem, a trip to the vet is probably in order.
my lab did this for a while the vet had us give him for 12hr only ice chips, then cooked rice for 24hr and then cooked rice and chicken for 24hr then gradually mix dog food in increasing the amount of dog food to rice and chicken over 3 days thill it’s just dog food again.i did this and it helped till we started treats again we have now found he can have nothing that says cheese debra_hayes
